Polynesian Night
My Sweet husband does so good NEVER complaining about ANYTHING i cook. He will pretty much eat anything that i put in front of him, Which is AWESOME!! Makes it so much easier on me i am glad i only have one picky eater..Teagan. He grew up in Samoa, and having two polynesian parents you can imagine he use to eat different stuff that i know how to make. Since we have been married the only place he would have Poly Food is when we visit Aunty Vai or his Mother, Or we are at a Poly Event.. I Had NEVER tried to cook anything different than what i grew up cooking..
I Really want Teagan and Aaliyah to grow up and know Something about their other half. We havent yet but when they are a little older i would love for them to be able to go visit semi often and be familiar with that culture. (Of course i would benifet from that as well :)
So i decided i am going to do my best at least once a month to cook some Polynesian food and start to incorporate at least the things i like a little more often. Tonight was our first night. I made a few of Moanas favorites. Otai, Manapua, Musubi, and Pani Popo. We all dressed in our Lava lavas. And had our islandy table cloth. ( everything had been given to us from my inlaws, but hadnt really been used much, but i hope to change that) It was SO cute to me to See Teagan in his lava lava, I hadnt ever put one on him.
Musubi-Sticky Rice, and Flavor coated Spam, Wrapped in Seawead.
Manapua- My version cause i ran out of time to do the real breading. Bread stuffed with BBQ Chicken.
Its kind of a drink with LOTS of chunks in it. Their version of a smoothy.. Maybe?
Otai- Watermelon, Pinapple,Evap. Milk, Coconut,Water, and Ice
Pani Popo- My favorite Poly Food. Its Desert. Rolls cooked in Coconut Milk, Sugar and water. THE BEST!!
Teagan didnt want to be taking a Picture
My Hott Island Boy!
Cute Little Girl
Sweet Boy!
I love to table Cloth

GeoCaching
Today Margaret Moana's sister introduced us to GeoCaching.. Never heard of it? Me neither. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! There is a website www.geocaching.com. It is like Treasure Hunting. People from all over HIDE little containers with a log and something you are either suppose to trade out or just add to.Then they Upload GPS coordinates and hints to where it is hidden. There is an App for the iphone making it really easy or you can just get it and print it out. Then you can track who comes to see yours and and what they put in it on line. All the containers are HIDDEN and they rank them with a difficulty level 1-5 we only did level one and the ones we found were so fun. One was behind some stores and like deep in the forest :) Two others were in public parking lots hidden in light poles, and one was hidden in the stump of a tree like so you really have to be looking for it to find it. It was so fun! TEAGAN LOVED IT.. This would be a Perfect FREE FUN date to do. It gets you out side and probably some of the harder ones you could like hike to or something. Most of the ones we did you could like drive up to, park and look around... for the most part. This is going to be our new hobby! Thanks for introducing us Margaret

Favorite Toy
The Heaths gave us this little play table for Aaliyah. The top comes off, and EVERYDAY we have a fight over it. Teagan thinks it is his, Aaliyah doesn't care half the time but as you can see in the picture Teagan is yelling it is his. I'm sure this wont be the first thing they fight over.

Our First Sunday Here
Today we planned on going to our New ward. I have been looking forward to meeting now people and just jumping back in to everything. When we got the the church building we remembered the missionaries telling us it was stake conference. Our ward will meet at 1:00 so we had completely missed it at 10:00. We were all dressed and in the car, and i had to wake Teagan up from his nap so we decided to go the the temple and just hang out there for a while. It was Nice! Teagan had fun running around the garden area. There were only a few people there so it was nice to mostly have it all to our self. There is just such a good spirit when you are at the temple even if your not inside. Just makes you feel good. We now live about 15 min. from the Washington DC temple. It is such a pretty temple. Now that we live a little closer we are hoping to go more often. It will be a little easier on the kids to get a babysitter for three hours opposed to five hours.

Move, Moanas Birthday, and Memorial Day
This Last week has been SOO Busy!! SO busy i forgot to take any pictures and i am very dissapointed about it! We packed up our stuff moved on Saturday. With the help of the Bluths, the Heath boys, the Missionaries and the Mckellars. Thanks Holly, Jackie and Anna for offering to watch my kids. (Trailer Full, BJs truck Full, Moanas Car Full, and the Stevens Car Full! I have no idea how we Gathered so much stuff over the past year.) I ran to the store Sat night for a Bday present. Sunday was Moanas 27th Birthday. We went to church in our old ward all dressed in our wedding colors from nathans, cause that was the only clothes i knew where they all were. I got him a Grill with all the Fixins. Lealand is in town so he came over and we had a barbaque and arranged our dinning room so we could have someplace to eat. Monday Memorial Day Moana Worked and then we went to clean out our old place. So not the most fun bday and memorial day but we have survived and i am happy to report that i am Loving our new place and have most of my unpacking done. Thank you everyone for all the help!
