Camp Out!

Since the weather had gotten so nice, Last week Moana told Teagan that we would go camping. He has been looking forward to it all week. He kept talking about how they were going to sleep outside in the soft grass. Funny kid. We decided our back yard would be a good place for the first time camping trip. I wonder if he will make it all night.? :)

This was Mine and Teagans project for the day. When we moved in there were two pallets full of bricks in different corners of the yard, and i decided they needed to be put to use. We made a fire pit! The logs are from the big tree they just cut down in the front. They came in handy! We were pretty proud of it! OK maybe just i was. Teagan didnt really care when we were doing it.:)

We had Tin foil dinners tonight. They were suppose to be Ducks :) Meat, Potatoes,Onions,and Carrots. They were good! I forgot how much i like Tin Foil Dinners!

Fun Run in DC

Yesturday we had such a fun Run. We ran to the metro about 1.5, then went down town and ran around the monuments and stopped for some sightseeing. It was so fun! We will be doing it every week now that i know how to take the metro! :)

Nice Weekend

We have had a nice weekend! On Friday we went to a mall in Silver Springs kinda like Gateway in Utah. It had some fun water fountains that the kids could play in. It is starting to get chilly here at night so we packed warm PJs for them and then got some ice cream from the Whole Foods store and walked around and just enjoyed being together! Saturday i had a great run! I totally surprised myself! I had never ran with headphones so i thought i would try and it helped me so much! I ran 9 miles by MYSELF and felt great! I knew i was going faster than normal but didnt realize how much faster till i finished and it was like a whole 2 min per mile faster :) that made me happy! Then i came home to a clean house thanks to my husband and the kids for the most part were happy all day, So not a thing to complain about! Moana had some church things to do and now we are going to watch a movie! I love the weekends! I am sad summer is over but i cant wait until Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years!! I just love this time of year!!! So many fun things to do!

I knew eventually i would be glad to have two kids so close together! It is SO fun to see them play together! Aaliyah loves Teagan! She wants to do everything he is doing all the time. It is so fun! Teagan got on his trackor and asked for Aaliyah to get on too. I put her on and they seriously rode back and forth in our house for at least 15 min. They both were laughing and squealing the whole time. I really hope they can grow up and be good friends! My little brother Kevin and i were great friends growing up and we are about the same age difference. I will keep my fingers crossed! I love being a mom! Today has been a good day.! :)

Labor Day

For Labor Day we went to the beach! It was probably the last time we will go this summer. It was PERFECT weather! Warm but not Hot and a Great breeze! I am so sad that summer is comming to an end! It has been a really good one though! I feel like we have done some fun things. Teagan loves playing in the sand and he LOVES LOVES LOVES the water! Just like his Momma! We could both live on the beach thats for sure! Aaliyah and Moana.... Well thats a different story. :)
